Key Reflection Questions
- Which competency is currently your greatest strength?
- Which competency would most improve your coaching effectiveness if strengthened?

- What coaching habit are you ready to develop over the next 90 days?
- If an ICF assessor reviewed your coaching today, how confident would you feel?
Personalized Development Recommendation
The purpose of this assessment is not simply to measure what you know about coaching. It is to help you identify the competencies that will have the greatest impact on your effectiveness and confidence as a coach.
Many coaches discover that passing a knowledge assessment is easier than consistently demonstrating the ICF Core Competencies in real coaching conversations.
Mentor coaching provides an opportunity to:
- Receive individualized feedback on your coaching
- Identify strengths and blind spots
- Deepen your coaching mindset
- Strengthen competency application
- Increase confidence for credentialing and real-world coaching
The strongest coaches are not those who know the competencies best—they are those who consistently embody them in every coaching conversation.
